Cold Narly Music Academy™ began in 2017 as a pilot after-school program in Buffalo, NY and has since grown through partnerships with 100s of schools, community centers, and nonprofits across the country.

Cold Narly Music Academy™ empowers the next generation of artists by creating a safe space to grow, create, and build real careers in the music industry.

Cold Narly Music Academy™ serves middle, high school and college students. Many have been first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented youth with a passion for music and media. We partner with schools, districts, and community organizations to deliver this culturally relevant, college-aligned programs that prepare students for success in both creative industries and higher education.

At Cold Narly Music Academy™, students gain hands-on experience in music production, songwriting, and the business of music. They learn how to write and arrange lyrics, rap, record, mix, and master their own tracks—building polished songs ready for platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and beyond.

Using industry-standard tools like FL Studio, Logic Pro, and Pro Tools, students also develop skills in studio management, beat production, and creative entrepreneurship—empowering them to run sessions and eventually own their own studios.

Cold Narly Music Academy™ offers dynamic virtual programs via Zoom and in-person experiences in key regions including Central Ohio, Central Florida, Shelby County, Tennessee, and Western New York. Our certified instructors travel directly to schools, working hands-on with students or delivering professional development through our Train-the-Trainer model - empowering district music teachers to build a lasting music production culture on campus.

Yes! Cold Narly Music Academy™ proudly offers college credit opportunities through our dual enrollment partnerships. High school students can earn up to 9 college credits while building real-world music production, business, and media skills.

College Credit Enrollment averages $2,100 per 3 credits, including expert instruction, music production tools, and up to 9 transferable credits. Cold Narly Music Academy™ offers payment plans and scholarships to support motivated students.
